ColdFusion was developed by Macromedia, the makers of web development programs like Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash. Coldfusion is very similar to PHP, ASP and other server-side programming languages in its ability to create dynamic pages. Anything you can do with PHP or ASP you can pretty much do with ColdFusion.
